About
I am a (full) professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Calgary. I earned my PhD (Dr. rer. nat.) in 2003 from the University of Dortmund. From 2005 to 2007, I was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Toronto. Since 2007, I have been part of the University of Calgary faculty, where I held a Canada Research Chair, Tier II, from 2012 to 2022.
I am currently serving as the Graduate Program Director of the Computer Science graduate programs at UofC.
